Unreal Engine 4.18 Preview

There used to be some functions nested under Apple ARKit group when in blueprint editor. In p2 it doesn’t show any, does this mean that ARKit is not implemented at all in p2 ?

Am I missing something? Where did the Marketing Icon go in the iOS settings? I see that the info.plist has the entries for CFBundleIconName now, but it is set to the name AppIcon with no way to add the 1024x1024 image. Am I looking in the wrong area now? It used to be with the app images in the iOS settings.

Also, when I look into the .ipa, none of the app icons are present. I only see the splash screen icons.

If I am missing something, please let me know. If not, I can submit a bug report.

It doesn’t seem like ARKit plugin even though enabled, works. There doesn’t seem to be any nodes available in P2.

I really don’t know how do you animate things using the Sequencer… another new version, still the same rotation issue that exists since ever (bad interpolation)… :frowning:

Any chances of fixing “Keep/Restore State” in Sequencer system? It never fully worked and it’s enormous issue if you’re using Sequencer heavily in your project…
Seriously, I love Sequencer so much, but this issue is often impossible to avoid.

It was fixed before in 4.16 but it reproduces again in 4.18p2.

Could someone take a look at this bug report which I mistakenly filed under “Rendering” instead of “Bug Reports”. Not sure how to move it over. TL;DR: Setting “Cast shadow as masked” on a material will cause Lightmass to crash when trying to build lighting.
Crash still occurs in 4.18 Preview 3.

This happens to me too, in particular with assets from the Open World Demo Collection and even when I click on them. On some other blueprints, the Editor freezes for a couple of seconds, but doesn’t crash. I thought it could have been due to my pc’s performances, so I didn’t file a bug report.
Only difference, to me this happened also in Preview 2, since I started trying the Open World Demo Collection after that update, so I don’t know about previous versions.

Thank you Shin_ji, we have someone assigned to take a look at it. In the meantime, I would suggest referring to the information in this post by some other users. It should be able to detail some of the changes to ARKit in the 4.18 previews.
