Unreal Engine 4.18 Preview

Having some problem with ARCore/Tango.
Make a new fresh project, enable ARCore plugin, packaging for android fails:
on > Could not resolve all dependencies for configuration ‘:app:_debugApkCopy’.
1> > Could not find com.google.tango:lighting_estimation:0.0.0.
1> Required by:
1> :app:unspecified
1> > Could not find com.google.tango:tango_java_lib:0.0.0.
1> Required by:
1> :app:unspecified

Seems to me that maybe the dependencies declared in the GoogleARCoreBase_APL.xml might not have been included… unless I am missing something.

p.s. this happens with gradle, tried switching over to ant, but that failed even more spectacularly

Double click on Blueprint “ARLine Trace from Screen Point” crashes the Editor.

And, I have no idea on how to get AR to work in 4.18. Can someone please give a little guide. Much needed! Thanks

Agreed, I see some pieces like Shin_ji mentioned but not all of them. We need a sample scene setup with GameMode and Pawn so we can fix up our project.

I create a default third-person mobile project with 4.18, and it crashs (and no icon) when launching on iOS11 iPad; but the 4.17 default third-person mobile project works just fine on iOS11 iPad. Can anyone tell me how to resolve this? Thanks a lot.

Should I use Xcode 9 instead of Xcode 9 beta 3? Or should I upgrade macOS from Sierra 10.12.6 to High Sierra 10.13 GM candidate?

We are making a game with random generated levels on 4.17 where I have to fake indirect lighting with lightmaps
(we load sub levels as rooms).
Is possibile to move the level and the whole indirect lighitng after bake with the new lightmapping system?

I don’t know yet if the volumetric lightmaps in 4.18 still have the same issue, I’ll have to download the preview to find out.

Does anyone know/tried to see the impact of the new update on physical animations and hits and reactions? Just as soon as I found some material to map my reading list to get to understand this, this new update. I hope it makes things easier. Anybody can comment?

Totally same procedure, why it works with 4.17, but no icon and crash with 4.18? Can anyone help me with this?

When is this problem fixed?
The most basic functional issues, the priority should be relatively high.
