Hello everyone,
I am working in Unreal Engine 5.3.2 for a film project for school, and have been using the Unreal Engine 5.3 variants with no issues so far. Today, when I was looking to setup rendering in Path Tracer mode on the school computers, I noticed that I did not have the option to do so. In my settings, I have Path Tracer enabled, I have hardware Ray Tracing enabled, and I have my default RHI set to DX12. Despite toggling and re-enabling these settings, I still have not gotten any way to load the path tracer.
The school computers use Nvidia Quadros M4000s, and I havent seen any other mentions of issues with this card. I have tried using the method listed here: Solved : Cant Enable RayTracing in UE5 (gtx 1060)(Nvidia Pascal) - #24 by Julian_Stys , but that didnt work.
Is there any known way to fix this problem? As someone who is unfamiliar with coding, I don’t really know where to look to fix this.
Thanks everyone for your time, and I hope to hear back from folks soon.
