What could be causing Unreal Engine to flicker and crash on my Victus laptop with Windows 11, AMD Ryzen 7 5800H processor, Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card (6GB), and 16GB of RAM? I have discovered that disabling MFAA in my Nvidia settings resolves the flickering issue. However, after installing Unreal Engine 5.2, the software crashes shortly after opening and working for a few seconds or minutes.
this was not a solution sorry guys
The particular error you have is that you are trying to access something in Unreal Engine that you don’t have authority to. If you open up Unreal Engine in a blank template project included with the engine, are you experiencing the same issue?
Yes, btw I am an unity user and I want to switch to unreal so this is very disappointing to me. I downgraded my nvidia drivers and unreal is not crashing after a few seconds or minutes its staying for about 5 or 10 min I think I will try running unreal as administrator and see if that solves my problem btw thank you soo much for your reply I am happy to see that unreal community Is active.
One more thing unreal is crashing when I right click on an actor or an object in my outliner.
I found another question in unreal forum with the exact problem I have and with a lot of replies I will try those replies and see if it works URGENT HELP please EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0x0000000000000010 - #2 by Quetzalcodename
