Hi @LAMA I’m assuming you mean submissions. I noticed that link is down a while ago as well. There are still the winning submissions shown here ‘Unreal Challenge: Furious Elegance’—winners announced - Unreal Engine but other than that I think you might have to just search on YouTube under the search term “Furious Elegance Challenge” and a vast majority of the entries should come up.

I received a message a little over two weeks ago and was curious when we might be able to expect a follow up? I am a little confused if we will be reached out to by email or mail for the next part of this process, and I guess just hoped to gain some clarification as to how long we can expect this to take?

Hi @Flak I hope all is well. I am curious when we might expect a follow-up email about the prizes. I was reached out to 22-ish days ago and was told we would be sent a form to fill out, but I have yet to receive any email about the form or a follow up and was curious how much longer we might expect it to take to be reached out to again.

I think they did, I believe that because the GDC was just around the corner, probably it caused a hurry in all epic staff

GDC is over now why is it so difficult to get a response? 
I feel like it will be a full year since the contest before they actually get the prizes out to the winners which is a little bit absurd. Given they had a few staff issues and GDC I think we can all agree that very few aspects of this have been handled professionally. It’s as if we were never a priority to begin with and its concerning for future contest participants if this is what they can expect. 
Epic needs to do better in the future and I am not sure what that entails but as a long-term supporter/fan/enthusiast of both Unreal, Epic Games, Fortnite etc. I hope to see their contest management significantly improve.

well to be real, I do think this was a “canceled” event but somehow it went through, I mean, of all the unreal challenges they have done, this is the only one that has not yet been really shown, by this I mean that its not even on the youtube channel but the others challenges are in the yt channel (at least in NA). I never saw the spotlights that they also mentioned, they would put the winners in community spotlight/creator portal. idk, but it has been part of my “sad moments” with epic games

I don’t know why I keep coming back to this thread… it’s like a really back Netflix series and you’re in too deep… so you have to stay and hope the ending saves it.

I agree. This has been an absolutely disappointing experience. The lack of responses from the staff is entirely unprofessional and I am reluctant to ever participate in any future contests much less recommend anyone else to participate. 0/10
