Unreal 5.2 + M1 Mac Ventura: "Twinkle" lighting glitch on driven texture on complex 3D mesh

Unreal5.2
M1 Max MacBook Pro
macOS Ventura 13.4.1

Not yet a bug report, might just be a setting I need to know about.

I’m getting distracting white “twinkles” on one part of a complex 3D mesh with photographic texture mapping with UV scale driven by a sine oscillator. I’m using mostly defaults for Unreal 5.2, am relatively new to it.

The texture mapping is to Base Color only. The UV Scales are driven by a combination of Material Functions and Blueprints. Everywhere else on the Actor it looks fine, there’s just one spot as shown in the attached image where it happens. I’m reasonably confident it is not some other object or gizmo or such displayed in parallel in the same region.

I’ve tried toggling various parameters of scene lights, can’t isolate anything from that yet.

I welcome any suggestion on what might be causing this and adjustments to lighting parameters and building I should investigate.
