Hello! We are a group of independent filmmakers working on an animated short film made with Unreal Engine. We are currently seeking a talented unreal engine lighting and rendering artist to collaborate with us. Influenced by mixed media shows like “World of Gumball”, the project is still in the early stages of defining its style in Unreal Engine and you could be part of it.
The project is about PETE, who on the day of his birthday, hopes for some recognition but his physiological needs become a priority. It is a slapstick comedy short that mixes different techniques from 3D and 2D to Stop Motion animation.
The director is an independent film professional who worked in the VFX industry, as a 3D Animator in projects like James Bond, Matrix, and Lion King, for five years. This would be his first animated short film.
This is an unpaid collaboration since it is a student film, but it is an excellent opportunity to gain experience working on a film project and to add to the portfolio. If you are interested in joining our team or knowing more about the project, please send your resume and a portfolio of your work.
