We are looking for an animator that can support us on our game project Shadowfall. We are currently building our core team of volunteers with the option of rev-sharing to equal amounts if this game releases. We are currently working on the core systems, have created some maps and building the lore behind the game. The setting is a mix of high and dark fantasy and we are relying quite heavily on store assets. To change this circumstances we need to find someone that wants to take the role of the lead animation designer that can create new animations or adjust existing ones to our needs based on the class documentation. The combat style of our classes should be fast paced and can contain some martial arts influences especially for the planned combo attacks. The games focus lies on small team arena pvp in the beginning and will be expanded later on. Important Note: Be aware that this is currently completely voluntary, we organize mainly via Discord, Cloud based File Server and GitHub. If you stick to the project to the end we want to make a rev-share to equal amounts and everyone can decide if he wants to stay and build a company out of this together or move on. The current focus is to learn along with the project and create something fun to play Your tasks:
- Creating new animations based on class documentation and the UE4/UE5 skeleton
- Adjusting existing animations from store packs that work for the UE4/UE5 skeleton
- Working on animations for the classes Sorcerer, Assassin, Bloodmage, Templar, Ranger
- Maybe rigging new characters to the Unreal skeleton if needed
- Although a class documentation exists you can always bring your own ideas and creativity into the mix because not everything is final yet
