Unknown assets in Memory Calculation

Summary

Since 37.20 memory calculation results summary shows unknown for many assets making it impossible for me to see how to get under the 100k limit.

Not sure, it is specific to my project it seems

Expected Result

It shows the assets and a browse to actor button.

Observed Result

It shows unkown and in some cases the resource is a long string of random numbers and letters

FORT-962282 has been created and its status is ‘Unconfirmed’. This is now in a queue to be reproduced and confirmed.

each string must be placed in the outliner box

then the outliner will point to the asset which may have been disallowed

see post on how to find this. Quite possibly work the asset after exporting delete and reimport using

Searhing for the strings in the outliner does not yield any results

As of v37.10, islands exceeding the 100,000-unit memory limit cannot be published or updated. To submit a new version for publishing, you’ll need to reduce your island’s memory usage below the threshold.

It seems 40k memory was added due to a few data layers being loaded. Weird this does not show in memory calculation, I am below 80k now. I see less Unkown random strings now but they still appear. So the issue in this post is not fixed

The 25k unknown seems to come from verse devices and the props attached to them. And it also seems to contain fortnite devices attached to custom blueprint props

FORT-962281 is ‘Closed’ as ‘Fixed’. The issue will be addressed in 39.10.
