The fact that you get full C++ access makes Unreal a clear winner for me. I’m pretty good at C++ and the freedom to add a few hacks here and there to make things either easier for me in the editor, or to add a few things into the animation system or AI or whatever is a huge plus for me. Otherwise I’d just shrug and think, well, I guess I can’t do that then.
I did reading about steam and I’m pretty sure they don’t charge 40% either.
