I use UE5.1 and my OS is Windows 11 Pro 22H2 Build: 22623.1255

It also happens on new Projects in every category.

So i found a fix.

The problem was the OSD from ASUS Gpu Tweaker. Jsut needed to disable it and it stopped crashing.

What is this OSD option doing?
I am experiencing the same with an Nvidia card. It looks like a GPU settings error or something like that. I do not have booster software or similar things installed, but I might have to try a few tweaks in the gpu control panel.

For anyone experiencing this or other UE5 GPU errors leading to sudden crashes, if you are running an Nvidia video card I highly recommend checking this video out and applying these settings, or at least some of them.

Even with a pretty nice configuration and an A4500 I was experiencing multiple and sudden crashes each day and I wasn’t able to leave the pc render path traced frames for an extensive period of time because of continuous crashes.

That video alone solved it for me.
I did not test any further for the time being, but some of those settings applied in the video seems to completely solve my issues! I am so relieved and happy to finally work with UE5 a bit more light hearted

Perfeito, desativei o OSD do ASUS Gpu Tweaker e importou FBX normal.
Muito Obrigado.

Thank you so much, wasted about an hour or two verifying the install then reinstalling UE5.1. What’s interesting is that it doesn’t affect my UE5.0.3 so I thought it was my install that was bad.
