Hope someone can help. i took a bunch of images with my DJI Minii 2 drone and realised half way through i had it on Cine rather than normal on the controller, i dont know if this is what has cassed the issue. I upload the images to reality capture as usual, click align and it gets so far and then just aborts saying error. I tried a different software and it says a lot of the images are uncalibrated. How do i fix this, is there a way of calibrating the images?
Hi Gary,
what were your alignment settings?
After importing images, is there a red triangle next to them?
Do you see the prior pose and prior calibration for all of your images?
What kind of error have you received? Can you tell which images are calibrated and which not?
Thank you for your reply, i am new to using reality capture myself and still learning a very powerful software. No red triangles, iv just tried to align the images again to get a screen shot of the error notice and this time it didnt show one, it just vanished. I have taken a shot of the alignment settings for you.
What is written in the console view after the alignment process?
Can you check the prior pose, prior calibration and prior lens distortion for your images in 1Ds view?
Are they the same for all your images?
Is this also happening after application reset?
And you are showing just draft and advanced settings for the alignment, not all of them.
OK, so as you were inside, please set the Prior pose to Unknown for all of your images. As all of your images have the same coordinates, it won’t be aligned properly or at all.
This is really strange. Is there a good overlap between the images?
Is it possible to share your data with us? If so, can you please send me your mail as PM? After that I will create a Box place for the data upload.
