Unable to Use Guns & Restricted To Moving Only BUG

Summary

When Disabling Pickaxe, And Possibility to build, and set traps etc AKA making it so u only can have the guns in inventory, and nothing else, and u have a game mode that ends when all players are dead, and if u are the player who died u spawn in with hands only equipped unable to use any gun making u limited to only moving, jumping etc with only hands equipped (I’ve seen 3 year old reports of this and this should seriously be fixed Fortnite come on now!) (Possibly all platforms, and happend on iPhone version, and Xbox version)

Go on my map, and get killed, and respawn

Expected Result

Hands only unable to equip gun

Observed Result

The observed result is hands only no guns, and it happens every time

Hi FuzzyKilzz! I’ll try to help you with this!

I think there are two things you can try to solve this:

1 - Be sure to set your Island Settings so you don’t lose your items when you die. To do that, go to Island Settings, Mode, Eliminations, and change “Eliminated Player’s Items” to “Keep” as shown in the image below.

2 - Add an Item Granter that is triggered every time a player is spawned on a Spawn Pad. This will grant all the items you want even if they were removed on death. You can see this document to understand how.
