Creator Portal

Steps to Reproduce

  • Open the Creator Portal and select the island to publish.

  • Choose a new title/name for the island.

  • Publish the island following standard procedures.

  • Check the island name in-game and on the Fortnite Creative website.

Expected Result

The newly chosen title/name should appear correctly in-game and on the Fortnite Creative website.

Observed Result

The island name does not update, it remains stuck on an older version regardless of the new title selected during publishing. Even completely changing the name and republishing has no effect.

I tried multiple variations of island names, but it consistently remains unchanged.

Here is the problem:

Published Island is like this, and it is supposted to show “MEGA HEXAGON FALL GUYS!:crown:” Title!

But the result in-game and on the official website is an old name, and it is stuck to it!

Update!

I was able to change the name, but I don’t really know what fixed it!

First I got a publish rejection cause of background image

Than I published it again with the right name, and checked all three Machine Localize options

So I don’t really know what’s the issue here, but it was approved and now it has the correct name! (but it is translating FALL GUYS really wrong, that’s why I didn’t want to use Machine Localize)

Even tho I managed to change it, I would like to still have the option of the localizing the Title.

there is also a bug in machine localization when you publish a map with machine localization once it won’t change even if you publish a new release with all the machine localization off

Yeap, that seems to be the issue

FORT-873221 has been ‘Closed’. We’re unable to reproduce this issue.

How is that so?
