Hello, after switching from Unreal 5.3.2 to 5.4.4, I’m noticing that my project looks different when comparing editor view and game view. In the images it’s noticeable that the colors and brightness are different and the sun looks different.
There’s some sort of post processing effect happening in game view that I don’t want. I was able to confirm that it’s post processing since when I use the console command “ShowFlag.PostProcessing 0” the two views become the same. However, there’s no post-processing volume in the scene or on any camera in the scene.
I’ve also tried to turn Auto-Exposure off and to set the View Exposure to use Game Settings but those haven’t helped align the views. I see this issue even in a brand new level with only a directional light and sky atmosphere.
Can anyone help me get rid of the post processing effect?
Hey thanks for the suggestion. I gave that a shot. Looks like the volume overrides the post process in the game view but does not override when I’m not in game view. So there’s still a visual difference that I’d prefer not to have since it means sometimes what I’m seeing in the viewport is not representative. I tried creating a new 5.4.4 project and there isn’t any difference there; the post process volume takes over whether or not Im in Game View and both look the same.
