I have been unable to launch a Live Edit session on my creative island for ~6 hours now. I was actively in a live edit session, making changes and pushing those changes successfully. Then on one attempt to push changes, the editor got stuck at Initializing… 0%, eventually erroring out after a few minutes stating “Failed to update project metadata on content service”. I have not been able to launch a session since and continually get the same error message when attempting to launch. Though, I’m still able to commit changes to URC and have no issues launching and playing Fortnite separately.
I have tried:
Verifying game files
Restarting my PC
Logging out and back into my Epic account
Disabling my antivirus software
Deleting the .urc folder from the project
Disabling Windows Firewall
Confirming there are no issues with my internet connection
Launching session from another account
Removing the project files locally and syncing from URC
Launching session from another PC + account
This issue is also with this project, I have not had issues launching live edit sessions for any other projects. This project has not had any other issues up until this point after ~2 weeks of development. I have never had this issue (or anything similar) on any project until today (1.5+ years).

I wish I could provide more information here, but I have no idea what initially caused the issue.
Expected Result
Live edit session launches successfully
Observed Result
UEFN gets stuck at Initializing… 0%. After a few minutes the attempt errors out with the following error message:
Seems like it was in fact due to an invalid/missing content service auth token, but there’s still no indication of what caused it to become invalid in the first place or how to force the authentication to reset like it did. Maybe this was fixed within the last few hours?
What Happened
I attempted to launch a session, it failed with the same error code. I then left UEFN open on the project for a few hours and when I came back, I had been logged out of URC. Upon logging back in, it prompted me to allow certain permissions on my account, and after agreeing, the project once again launched successfully.
Next Steps (If it’s not been fixed globally)
This still needs to be looked into as if it can seemingly happen out of nowhere once, I’m not confident it won’t happen again with this project or any others.
Obviously an actual solution is ideal, but in the meantime it would be good to know:
What can cause content service authorization to become invalid/missing
How to force reset authorization in case this happens again
I’ve been having a similar issue, UEFN and my projects open just fine, but Launching a Session either from UEFN or Fortnite keeps throwing a network connection error (despite running regular internet tests without any issues).
