No, it still doesn’T.
It doesn’t work here either.
Do we need to update the launcher specifically? What would be its correct version number?
Still not working for me either.
I updated the launcher earlier today and my version is currently:
18.11.0-46396753+++Portal+Release-Live
Someone above said not to update to this version, but I’d already updated as the version I was on wasn’t letting me update plugins either - nothing would happen when I clicked the “Installed Plugins” link under the engine version but it was showing there were updates with the exclamation mark icon.
Now I can see the updates and attempt to install them, but just get MD-0013.
Same trying to install any new plugins.
Hopefully it’ll be sorted soon.
I’m getting this identical issue with PaperZD.
I found they have a latest binary available to download from the PaperZD page on FAB.
I tried installing it manually as a work-around but so far have not been able to get it to work. ![]()

I got the same issue.
We need to kick up a fuss about this. I’m migrating a project to a new PC and can’t launch it because I can’t install the plugins it uses.
I’ll need to pull them from my old machine and manually transfer them if I want to get any work done and that doesn’t solve the issue of any other assets I don’t have downloaded already.
Being locked out of tens of thousands of £-$-€’s for days is unacceptable. This leading to being locked out of my project is even worse.
+1 Same here, Having the same issue after epic launcher updates.
The team is aware and working on this now
Update: Launcher has now been rolled back, anyone experiencing the issue should update their launcher again.

Can confirm things are working again after rolling back the launcher via the “update”.
Thanks for the fix!
My previous post was accidentally deleted, but I just wanted to let everyone know that the issue has been resolved. The plugins are now updatable on Epic Games Launcher (Version 1.11.0-47594891+++Portal+Release-Live).
