Hi,
Does anyone have encounter this problem before, I’m unable to install or update any plugins from fab from the epic launcher. I’ve tried all I could find, including reinstalling everything but I’m still stuck and unable to install anything, the engine runs fine and plugin already installed are ok, but i can’t update any of them or install new ones

Open epic launcher, install plugins …error code MD-0013 after “retry” error code II-E1003
Plugins should update or install
Error code and nothing is installing

+1 Same here! Can´t install plugins in any engine (tried 5.4, 5.5 and 5.6).

+1 Same issue here. I also cannot update any plugins in Unreal Engine. Tried multiple times but it always fails.
Me ,too . it doesn’t install any plugins even Epic’S own plugins.
same issue. Never seen this before and just thought, well I’ll try Unreal and PaperZD today….nope.

Yeah, same MD-0013 error message here when trying to install a plugin or update an existing plugin that is already installed.
Hope it’s fixed soon.
Same exact MD-0013 error on Mac via Epic Launcher when trying to update PaperZD plugin into the new Unreal Engine 5.6 version.

For those wondering latest launcher update causes that issue.

Any way to install an older version? Still happening to me and it seems like a pretty big deal.

Officially not, there no way to downgrade the launcher.
But older version found on Google might break your already installed project, plugins etc.. so it might be safer to wait for a hotfix.
Edit: launcher has been rolled back it fixed now
Do Not Update the launcher to Epic Games Launcher 18.11.0
