New to Reality. Have been trying to export some simple scans, but regardless of resolution or format, I am unable to export a constructed mesh. I have tested the meshes in questions for Integrity, topology, holesx etc, but when I choose to export a Dense Mesh Model I receive the save mesh dialog, I choose my format, the app goes grey for a moment and nothing else. I have tried to downgrade to earlier builds without luck. I work at a Uni and I am using a Student/Teacher license. I assumed that I would be able to produce geometry from the app, but perhaps that is not the case?

there is a bug regarding export for some computers. There are some ways, how to solve this issue, but downgrading should definitely help, as the issue wasn’t in that version.
Other solution in Windows reinstallation.
What do you mean that downgrade wasn’t successful? Did you have some error there?
Thanks for your reply. By downgrade, I mean that I have clean uninstalled the very latest version and have tried the three older version of the software. It was the same with all three earlier revs so I am now running the latest version again. I will try installing the software on another computer today. In the middle of classes so a Windows re-install is not an option currently. Cheers
It is strange that also previous version didn’t work for you, as in those versions there wasn’t that bug.
Is it possible to export something else from RealityCapture?
HI otrhan and thanks for your reply. I couldn’t get to work on a fairly modern Alienware m17 with RTX 2070. However, I am able to save on a newer Victus RTX 3050. Both machines are running the latest firmware and drivers. Was the problem you mentioned just os related? All our laptops are installed from networked images. If there is a problem with the Alienware images we may have to look into creating one the addresses the problem with saving you mentioned. Can you perhaps give any details? Thanks again

It seems that Windows reset/reinstallation helps in this case, but it is not ideal solution for everybody.
It seems like this issue was caused by one added export format in last release and our developers are working on the solution now.
