Unable to connect to verse workflow server after update 38.00

Summary

I can open verse files but cannot build in any way and pressing the “connect to verse workflow server” does nothing. Image shows that upload verse and publish change buttons are not there

Open map from before 38.00
Verse explorer-> open a verse script

Expected Result

Should open vscode and connect to verse server

Observed Result

Opens VS code but does not connect to server

I believe this is a known issue listed in the patch notes of v38:

The VS Code Verse extension’s VerseWorkflowServer will not be able to connect in 38.00 due to a regression. It will be fixed in 38.10.

So are we unable to do anything in verse until then?

You can hit the “Compile Verse” button next to the Launch Session button to compile your current Verse code. The only thing that’s broken is that you cannot do this from VS Code anymore due to the issue with the extension.

FORT-1009204 has been created and its status is ‘Unconfirmed’. This is now in a queue to be reproduced and confirmed.
