Summary

Unable to connect to an editing session; client connection failure. The game can’t connect to a session on either console or PC.

Click the Start Session button
The resource check will begin
An network error will appear

Expected Result

The game should start

Observed Result

The editing session does not start, a network error occurs.

Hi I’m experiencing the same issue when starting my game sessions, the editor is fine but the moment I start the game my character will freeze in place and then I get kicked back to the menu after a few minutes.

Did you ever find a solution to this?

Did you find a solution? I’m having the exact same issue and when I click start I freeze in place for a few minutes then get kicked back to the menu. My Output Log says it’s a connection timeout but if I publish the game without play testing the freezing issue still happens which makes me believe it’s not a connection issue but an issue with UEFN itself

aren’t VPNs bannable? And did you try uploading the map after as a private code and testing to see if it works straight from Fortnite without VPN?
