try the urc fix here, it may help with the revision control issue, I could check in changes after doing this
For anyone still experiencing this issue who have already updated Windows Defender, but have not had success with the above resolutions, please try the following:
Close UEFN if it is open
navigate to C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\Temp\.net
delete the URC folder
reopen UEFN (the URC folder will be recreated from scratch) and try again to open the project

Summary
When syncing to revision control, UEFN starts using more and more RAM until it can’t use more RAM and proceeds to give the error: “Out of video memory trying to allocate a rendering resource. Make sure your video card has the minimum required memory, try lowering the resolution and/or closing other applications that are running. Exiting…”
I have 12GB of video memory. 32GB of RAM.

it got fixed because my team8 had something locked (playerspawners) after i overrid his changes it checked in properly. But it didnt generate any error or message whatsoever about it earlier and i dont think there where any conflicts either. Ig the solution was to make sure nothing is checked out by another user.
