If you migrate UMG widgets to another project, related UMG structure references are not updated, which is understandable, but they should break at least. However, UMG structure references-bindings do not break their outdated (broken), structure reference. This is a very subtle issue, which can only be resolved with unbinding the existing reference, and assigning it anew.
UMG Structure References do not update after project migration
I was unable to reproduce your issue on our end. When I migrated my UMG blueprint, it automatically identified the reference to the struct and migrated the struct as well. I have a couple of questions about your issue to help narrow down the issue you are experiencing.
- Are you creating your struct via code?
- How is your reference breaking?
