is this achievable with UMG for my UI? and will the result be in HD? like no blurriness?
HD, well that will depend on your image resolution.
Blurriness, you can set the compression setting to UserInterface2D to reduce any form of artefact.
Yes this can be done in material, but can you also just export your image to unreal as it is, it will be less expensive since you using less node calculation in your material.
