UI Not Clickable After UEFN update

Summary

After updating both Unreal Editor for Fortnite and Fortnite, the editor UI stopped responding to mouse clicks. The cursor moves normally, but no UI elements can be clicked.

Steps to Reproduce

Update Fortnite to the latest version.

Update Unreal Editor for Fortnite to the latest version.

Launch UEFN and open any project.

Wait for the editor to fully load.

Try clicking on any UI element (buttons, tabs, panels).

Expected Result

The editor UI should respond to mouse input normally — buttons should click, tabs should switch, and panels should open.

Observed Result

The mouse cursor moves as expected.

No UI elements respond to clicks at all.

The editor becomes effectively unusable.

Restarting UEFN and the PC does not fix the issue.

Fully uninstalling and reinstalling UEFN does not resolve the problem.

I don’t know if you have Discord Game Overlay enabled, but if you do disable it for UEFN. I had this exact same problem today with UE5, and doing that fixed it for me.

There was a similar bug in Unreal Engine caused by multiplane overlays, maybe it’s the same issue here.
