UI Not Clickable After UEFN + Fortnite Update

Hi everyone!

After the latest update of Unreal Editor for Fortnite and Fortnite, the editor UI became completely unclickable.

The mouse cursor moves normally, but no buttons, panels, or tabs respond to clicks.
Before the update everything worked perfectly — the issue appeared immediately after updating.

What exactly happens:

  • I can move the cursor, but UI elements don’t react.

  • It looks like the viewport or a stuck session is capturing the mouse input.

  • The issue is consistent and happens every time I open the project.

What I have already tried:

  • Restarted UEFN multiple times

  • Restarted the PC

  • Clicked End Game / Exit Session

  • Reset Editor Layout

  • Tried switching windows and viewports

  • Deleted Saved and Intermediate folders

  • Created a new project

  • Fully uninstalled and reinstalled UEFN ( did not help )

  • The problem still persists exactly the same way

Additional info:

  • The issue started only after updating Fortnite and UEFN.

  • I attached a video showing the problem (mouse moves but nothing clicks).

Could this be related to the latest update?
Is there anything else I should reset or clear?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Same here, after Launcher update I have the same issue with UE4.27. In few threads I found they all mention Nvidia Drivers but I’m with AMD and with the latest drivers and everything was fine until yesterday before I have updated the Epic Games Louncher

There was a problem with the Discord game overlay, but after closing Discord it was fixed.

I have the exact same problem and closing discord doesnt work, am I doing it wrong

make sure to not just close discord, go into discord and disable “game overlay” in the settings. at that point you can close and reopen uefn and it should be good!
