UEFN seems to be using an insane amount of memory when it doesnt have to and “commits” memory up to x4 of what its actually using. Could be due to verse script server as VSCODE was observed to have 25gb commited when UEFN was displaying this behaviour

Add 25mb worth of textures
Place them in the world
Add some verse scripts to the project (more then 10 devices)
Observe
Expected Result
UEFN runs as normal and consumes only as much memory as it needs
Observed Result
UEFN and VSCODE use huge amounts of commited memory
I have this issue too. Even after installing 128GB of ram it would use it all and eventually crash. I avoid the issue now by running the Fortnite game/session on a seperate machine or mobile phone. This seems to stop the RAM usage going nuts. Curious if this solves the issue for you?
