UEFN not recognizing projects and publishing errors

Summary

I had converted a FNC map to be UEFN.
I published a private version of the UEFN project.
In my project section of my Creator portal, it says the project is UEFN.

Now when I open UEFN and look at the project, it says that it is FNC.
I have the file for the project. Portal says it is UEFN. But the program UEFN says it is FNC and I can’t not open the file.

Additional Notes

UEFN just stopped recognizing my saved projects in the tab.

I believe this is also preventing me from publishing other games in FNC as well as I started to receive errors today.

The screen shot shared is of the publishing error I believe is in connection to this issue. It would be difficult to screen shot the UEFN issue due to the complexity of its nature.

As a first step, could you try removing the space in the file name?

Could you also give us more details about the steps you’re taking, if that doesn’t fix it?

I could! However that is to only create a new save file, I am looking for existing files/games that were already saved without the space and are not showing up anymore.

The steps that I am taking;

  1. Open UEFN
  2. Project Browser automatically opens
  3. Search my project name.

Upon searching the project name, it shows the project is ‘FNC’ in the ‘project browser’.
UEFN does recognize that the ‘FNC’ project has been opened before however can not find the project data.

I do have my projects stored in a USB.
It looks like UEFN is not recognizing the USB when finding data.

My computer does recognize the USB and I can see the files exist when I open the file explorer.

Actually I figured it out!

In the Editor preferences, I added an ‘index’ in the project folders and chose the USB file as the ‘array’

All files from the USB are now showing.
