UEFN 'Launch Session' doesn't launch fortnite

UEFN does not launch Fortnite when clicking ‘Launch Session’. It says Session connected but nothing happens.

I have tried reinstalling UEFN and Fortnite, and verifying the files but to no success.

hi did you fix this? i have the same problem

Got the same issue for my team. I can launch FNC from UEFN but the team can’t.

The projected was migrated from another UEFN-project.

No, as far as I can tell it happens randomly. Sometimes I’m able to launch a session, sometimes I’m not.

It would be nice to hear from Epic. I have a feeling this could be some kind of server side issue, but that’s just a guess…

I’ve had this happen when I have returned to the Fortnite lobby and changed from UEFN Session to something else. There doesn’t seem to be an option to get it back again and launching a session in the editor doesn’t work. The session will launch with UEFN connected, but there is no way to connect to the server from Fortnite.
The only reliable thing I’ve found is exiting the session in UEFN, closing Fortnite, and waiting a few moments before launching a session again in UEFN and waiting for Fortnite to reopen by itself. Be sure to wait a little after closing Fortnite, because sometimes Fortnite will not open if you launch a session too soon.

Same issue here and I came to same workaround - closing Fortnite client and then relaunching session.

The problem with this workaround is that it take long to finish due to long loading times for Fortnite.
