I did re install too and verify files and still the same

Yes; and a lot tbh, please review this weird crash when trying to RUN FIX UP with the Item Placer and certain weapons for example Exotic Weapons like “Double Trouble” Where it will give you a Material error resulting in a crash when trying to fix it.

I seems to get more crashes when a material is involved ie right click and try to create material instance/open something that has material in ie ie prefab and it has mesh comps with material. Could be a shader issue.

Then sometimes just pressing browse on a bpp also crashes it idk what has happened but this was never a thing now im limited to what i do in my map due to a possible crash.

I was creating a shape in modeling mode then when i save and click the browse too via the outliner folder icon it crashes too

All i did then was right click on the asset to rename and it crashed before i could even do that like something is wrong could someone at epic give me 20 mins of their time to fix this for me as its frustrating beyond belief as i cannot do anything unless its just code.

@Flak

I keep sending logs but i think i can repro it 100% in a minute of opening the uefn editor

All i did this time was open the static mesh editor :face_with_symbols_on_mouth:

Can this be fixed its causing so many issues now its frustrating beyond belief

I can handle little bugs ect but when the entire editor is crashing its so bad

Crashes when migrating something from 1 project to another too

Could we get your logs, @AtAshTag? Also the island code if we could also get your island code. Thank you!

Logs sent, Vid sent with 100% repro and island is not published yet but the private session code im using is

When i run UEFN in DX11 i get no crashes at all without this its crashing all the time on many things.

Thanks, I’ll pass that along.

The crashes are so common and so annoying. Can’t use the search bar on content browser anymore, if I search “item” on our project I crash 100%. Also resizing windows sometimes crashes, and there are some more cases which I forget now. Very bad, needs looking into asap

Something else i just noticed is when running UEFN in DX-11 this fixes the crashes for me but Fortnite will auto be set to DX-11 in the settings. I feel this is a bug in itself as Fortnite should conform to whatever graphics api is set on Fortnite ?

@Flak If you could let the team know this little extra piece idk if its part of it or a new bug/if it is a bug but doesn’t seem right how UEFN is overriding my settings on the Fortnite client.

Its like using this work around is creating another issue :frowning: Never a dull moment

Thank you kindly
