Summary
Since the 37.00 update, anytime I do memory calculation, UEFN completely freezes, I can’t even alt-tab back into it, and in Fortnite I can still move the camera around, but I can’t even open the menu to go back to the Fortnite lobby.
I have to Alt+F4 out of Fortnite, and open the task manager to kill UEFN.
I am really surprised that I have not seen anyone else report this issue yet.
It happens both on my laptop (Intel CPU, RTX 3060) and my desktop (AMD CPU, RTX 3090).
I have not tried other projects, only the main project I’m working on. It’s a kinda big project, with 8000 actors in the world and almost 6000 lines of Verse code.
The memory calculation completes and the build is uploaded, the editor just dies afterwards, and takes the Fortnite client with it.
