Summary

I’ve seen some maps, which I believe, are using the Melee Designer device. However, I can’t seem to access it in UEFN. I did find it in Fortnite Creative mode but I don’t understand why some devices would be in creative and not in UEFN. Is there a early access mode for UEFN or something I can do to access this device? I’d love to have custom sword damage in my map.

I also believe there are two new devices in Creative called Level Loader and Level Instance that I also can’t access.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open Fortnite and load into your Creative map.
  2. In devices, find Melee Designer.
  3. Save map and open UEFN.
  4. Attempt to import data from that map into your new map.
  5. An error pops up saying that UEFN doesn’t support Melee Designer.

Expected Result

To be able to use Melee Designer inside of UEFN.

Observed Result

UEFN doesn’t support Melee Designer
