UEFN Crashes when hovering the Performance Mode option in the editor

I hope this is the correct place to post this. Everytime I open a new project (or an existing one for that matter) it’s a coin flip as to whether the editor crashes on me or not.
When I even have the option of navigating the UI, if I try to access the drop down to enable performance mode, the editor instantly crashes.

I read a post saying that lowering the quality would maybe help, and if need be, enabling the performance mode option would also possibly work. My PC should be perfectly capable of handing UEFN, as I have used Unreal engine 5 and other editors on it in the past.

Here are the logs that it gives me almost every time it crashes:

Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0x0000000000000010

So, actually, I believe I found a solution myself, but I figured I would leave this post up so that anyone in the future who has this issue has a solution.

All it took to fix it was to go in the NVidia Control Panel and reset the global settings back to their default settings. after that I rebooted my pc and UEFN worked just fine.
