Recently I’ve decided to try UEFN and dive deeper in it than I did before and when Fortnite was done downloading on my PC, I’ve tried to launch UEFN and nothing happened. It closed almost instantly, I didn’t see any windows popping up as well as processes in task manager. The only thing I could find is in the Event Viewer. It was 2 error event with Event ID 1000 for Unreal Editor and Event ID 1005 for Fortnite when I was launching UEFN. What could possibly be wrong?
Steps to Reproduce
Launch UEFN
Expected Result
UEFN launches normally
Observed Result
UEFN crashed at launch without even opening or crash report
So it seems like there’s an issue with the installation. That would be my best guess!
My best suggestion is to uninstall each program, then reinstall- then just to be sure, after all are reinstalled, run a verification through the launcher (use the “…” and then verify files)
Unfortunately, I’ve already tried that and it didn’t work. I’ve reinstalled Fortnite 2 times already and verified files several times. Can other programs conflict with UEFN?
