Summary
Ever since UEFN came out, I realized some of my projects have way more than intended memory (150k+ more than in a session a few minutes before).
I realized with some testing that it’s billboards causing it and more precisely the resolution multiplier option. Every new project I do, 50+ since I first discovered this, all have this exact same bug.
The only way to fix it is:
- set all billboards to 0.5 resolution multiplier
- launch session
- once loaded in, set all billboards back to 5.0
- DON’T PUSH CHANGES, instead upload to private version
- once loaded, launch memory calculation
This is the only way to fix it and it’s very annoying so I hope this can be fixed soon.
Steps to Reproduce
Place a few billboards and set them all to 5.0 resolution multiplier.
Expected Result
Billboards take way more than intended memory.
Observed Result
UEFN doesn’t calculate
