Summary
Since updating to 42.30 (Oct 1), UEFN becomes almost unusable on my project.
Memory for the UEFN process climbs to ~16 GB after loading the map (system memory 89%+ on 32 GB machines), and every action, especially selecting a Verse device or setting one of its fields, takes up to ~5 minutes. The same project worked normally on both machines before the update.

Memory Calculation
Steps to Reproduce
-
Open the project in UEFN 42.30 (World Partition map, ~1,450 objects, Project Size ~23%, Unreal Revision Control enabled).
-
Wait for the map to load. UEFN works normally for about 5 minutes.
-
Select a Verse device with many @editable references in the Outliner and try to set a field.
Expected Result
The editor stays responsive and uses roughly the same memory it did before 42.30.
Observed Result
UEFN memory climbs to ~16 GB and system memory to 89%+. Clicks and menus take up to ~5 minutes to respond. Sometimes the editor freezes completely with low CPU and no disk activity and has to be ended in Task Manager. This happens on two separate machines (desktop and laptop, both 32 GB RAM), both right after the 42.30 update.
Platform(s)
Windows 11 PC – desktop and laptop (Lenovo Legion 5), 32 GB RAM each

Additional Notes
Tried: restarting the PC, closing all other apps, viewport scalability Low, material quality Low, page file increased to 32–135 GB. None helped. Very little content changed before the issue started. Similar older report: Verse Devices being slow to respond / cause lag in Editor
