Hey everyone,
I’m currently diving deep into lighting in Unreal Engine 5, and I’m wondering if there’s a reliable method within UE5 to accurately detect the scene’s brightness to prevent areas from being overexposed (too bright) or underexposed (too dark)? I’m specifically looking for something beyond just relying on visual judgment; I’m seeking objective data to guide my decisions.
For example, are there any specialized optimization views or methods that can display numerical brightness values for different parts of the scene, or perhaps provide warnings for excessively bright areas? I believe this would be incredibly helpful during the lighting process.
I’d appreciate it if anyone interested could share their thoughts and insights on this topic.
