Hi everyone,
I’m having an issue with my character’s hair in Unreal Engine 5.
Whenever the character gets close to a campfire (Point Light), the hair becomes extremely bright, almost glowing. It looks heavily overexposed compared to the rest of the character.
Here’s what I’ve already tried:
- Specular = 0
- Roughness = 1
- Backlit = 0
- Emissive = 0
- Scatter = 0
- Different Point Light intensities
- The issue still remains.
The hair is using the Hair Shading Model.
Has anyone experienced something similar or knows what could cause this?
Could this be related to:
- Hair material settings?
- Point Light settings?
- Exposure / Post Process?
- Hair shader itself?
- Something else entirely?
I’d really appreciate any suggestions.
