UE5 City Sample Crowd - Hands Highlighted During Runtime

Has anyone experienced this before? The characters hands from City Sample Crowd highlight during runtime. I’m using 5.0 as recommended. I added the pack to a Collab Viewer template project. Looked through the laser functionality but couldn’t find a connection. Thanks.

I have the same issue in UE 5.3, also via the collab viewer. Haven’t found a solution as of yet.

Hello, the problem is caused by the postprocess material of the pointer selection. You can find it in BasePawn general settings just look for post process material. Its set to 1 to have highlight over the selected objects if you set it to 0 the problem with the hands will disappear.

If you want to have the selection highlight from the post process material you can edit the material.
