UE5.5 BUG, landscape grass from material doesn not cast shadow on self and terrain, only receive shadow

However if you drag a static mesh version, it cast shadows again

This is the landscape grass setting.

The grass is a market place resource in 5.4, I migrate that to 5.5 project

perhaps you are using raytracing… which i do not beleive works on landscape material grass that autopopulates. If you are using ray traced shadows swithc to virtual shadow maps or use contact shadows.

Use virtual shadow maps, works for me, pixel-perfect crisp shadows at whatever distance; performant in 554.
