The problem is still happening. It is very frustrating. After like 20 minutes, dropdown menus disappear every time I scroll over them. Also, worst case scenario is when the screen starts flickering black, on and off./

ok guys, I just install 4.71 nvidia game ready driver for my rtx 2060 hoping that this fu**ing glitch would be dessapear, but I am sad to announce that the glitch still there! back to 457 . using UE 4.26.2
thnk for the update man… i wonder UE4.27 or UE5 fixed it…I am doing other stuff lately and not touched that . Also did any want log this as an official bug case other than discussing here.Maybe that is what we should do
I installed the latest Studio driver from Nvidia and it seems to have solved the issue for me. I did a clean install with the drivers from June 23, and it’s been working for at least a few hours, so hopefully it’s solved. I’m not sure how the studio drivers perform for gaming, I’ll have to fire up Control later and check it out, but so far so good!
great @ideefixe , I gonna wait a couple of days and then apply the studio driver! thanks.
I was using the 460.89 driver for my RTX 2080 for the longest time but now I had to install a new one due to BF2042 beta… What can I say - not everyone has a work station and a game station.
I was searching again for new answers after getting back those flicker issues in UE immediately after the driver update.
Here is what I found and it seems to help. Also scrolling down a YT video page doesn’t lag anymore - must be related to the flicker issue.

Just run the reg file and you’re done.
Also if you have G-Sync, enable Triple Buffering for a little performance boost.
For you not so trusty folks in here, this is what the reg file says:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Dwm]
"OverlayTestMode"=dword:00000005
Hi, im sorry for the bump, but, is there an actual fix from Nvidia or Unreal? Other than making register changes and/or using outdated drivers. This issue has been driving me crazy for the last year and none of the proposed solutions worked. thi issue also extends(when its happening) to Chrome and other applications.
