Ue4 4.26 bug/issue

Hello! I m working for 3 years with ue4 and I never saw something like this, I m struggle with this problem for 3 weeks now. The engine works great for like 3-4-5 minutes, in some cases about 10 minutes, after that, the thing you can see in the video is happening (The nodes list just disappear when I m trying to chose an option, the top panels same, disappears when I m trying to use them. Every expandable menu just disappears after shows for like 0.2 seconds), I don t really know why. Probably is a bug, an issue, or something like that.

Video: ue4 issues - YouTube

Specs: i9 10900k
RTX 2070
32 GB RAM 3200.

I was trying to record the screen with NVIDIA recording software (instead of phone) but the problem wasn’t there anymore.
While I’m recording, all works perfectly, when the recording is stopped/paused, the problem appears again, very strange…

Koljisto posted an answer in this thread Submenus Disappearing Bug - UI - Unreal Engine Forums which might be a short term solution. It could also be a driver issue. Did you install a new GPU driver before those problems occured? Did you try to disable Nvidia Shadow Play before starting Unreal? Maybe try to install the newest Nvidia driver (or one from a date before your problems) .

Yes, i did, i have the last driver

Could you also give this a try: Go to Edit → Editor Preferences → on the Appearance page (the one that opens by default) Change the “Enable Window Animations” box (on and off) . This was posted by DotCam in UE4 Editor Bug - Drop Down Menus Shaking - Feedback for Unreal Engine team - Unreal Engine Forums

My specs: i7 4770K 1080TI 24GB RAM. Nvidia driver version 461.40, Windows 10 Pro 10.0.19041 and UE 4.26.1

I don’t have these issues and maybe one of the differences of our systems is the key

  1. I am using an “old” driver, GameReady not Studio
  2. I am not using Raytracing
  3. I am deactivating SteamVR when I open my projects
  4. I am working with FullHD
  5. No other running programs

Sry that I don’t have a solution for you.

I installed the 457.09 Nvidia driver and all works perfect now.

off topic but how did you activate this visual mode?
