UE4.27 VR ExponentialHeightFog half working and strange behavior in one eye.

I put an ExponentialHeightFog in my scene, this is what it looks like in the editor (using game view):

In the VR preview the Fog for my left eye is fine. However the fog for my right eye is so intense that in the far distance the scene is very white. In the close distance, both eyes are fine:

(Forward shading is turned on)
I’m guessing it is caused by some settings on rendering but I am sure the exact.
