UE won't "VR Preview" w/ 4.25.1 and Oculus Rift S. Stuck w/ three dots and configure guardian.

Hi, I’m getting an strange behavior w/ 4.25.1 and the Oculus Rift S.

I do a “Play -> VR Preview” to test my game and after 6 or so tests, the HMD gets stuck with three white dots on a gray background.

I think what is happening is the guardian is being reset, then the Oculus pop-up app-vertising window shows a message about setting up the device. Once, the three-dots showed along with the “set the floor level” glowing grid which responded to the controller. The HMD was still showing the three dots and gray background.

The only workaround I’ve found is to reboot. It occasionally resets itself and requires a new setup of the guardian (floor and boundaries).

Is this behavior in 4.24 also?

Is there something I’m missing?

EDIT: I worked around this by going to the Rift S settings and turned the Guardian off

Hmmm… turning the Guardian off didn’t fix it. I thought Firefox VR might have been the problem but it still happens w/o FF.

Workaround is to close UE4, Oculus app -> Beta -> restart. Open UE4
