UI / Tools
Steps to Reproduce
- Fresh Windows 11 install. Install Unreal Engine 5.8.3 from the Epic Games Launcher with MetaHuman Creator Core Data, and sign in to the Launcher.
- Launch the editor from the Launcher (not as admin) and open a project with the MetaHuman Creator plugin enabled.
- Create a MetaHuman Character from a default preset (no custom mesh).
- Click “Create Full Rig” (same result with “Create Joints Only Rig”).
- The Epic sign-in overlay window opens.
- Try to click any field or button in the overlay.
Expected Result
The sign-in overlay accepts mouse and keyboard input, I can sign in with my Epic account, and the auto-rig runs so the character becomes rigged. Fab login in the editor should also sign in successfully.
Observed Result
The sign-in overlay appears but does not respond to any clicks or typing, so I cannot sign in. The MetaHuman account menu shows “No user signed in, please autorig to trigger log-in flow” and the Rig State stays Unrigged.
Output Log:
LogEOSAuth: No existing persistent auth credentials were found for automatic login
LogMetaHumanAuth: Login failed - error code: EOS_InvalidAuth
Fab login inside the editor fails with the same EOS_InvalidAuth error.
