Summary
Every time i attempt to install unreal engine, it gets stuck at 0% initialisation and cannot be cancelled or paused.
This happened after i uninstalled unreal 5.7 and attempted to reinstall it at a later date. I have to go into program files and clear the epic games launcher data folder to stop/reset the installation attempt.
I attempted several fixes including:
- changing dns
- changing wifi
- clearing all unreal engine and epic games files from my PC and then re-installing epic launcher
- Updating Drivers
- Adding Epic Games Firewall exception
- Changing Engine Versions
- Open msconfig and disable “Device Association Service” (I saw this in another post stating a similar issue)
None of these changes fixed the problem

Steps to Reproduce
Uninstall an existing 5.7 engine, and then attempt to reinstall it from the launcher
Expected Result
5.7 should reinstall like normal
Observed Result
5.7 initialisation is stuck at 0% initialisation
