UE 5.4 mac LS-0013 Error when launching

Summary

When I try to launch Ue 5.4 it give me the error LS-0013, even though I have validated the download.
I am on a mac M1, os 12.6.5

macbook pro M1, os 12.6.5

Edit: I guess I have to update my system…

Hello,

I have the exact same issue.
The only difference is that I’m running Monterey 12.7.4.

Any luck with a fix?

Same problem, also on Monterey. Any confidence we’re ever going to get a result here?

Did you find a workaround? I’m getting the same error. Validating doesn’t work either.

The solution is to upgrade Mac OS version. It seems UE5.4 is only compatible with Mac OS > 12. In my case I went from Monterey to Sonoma. Post upgrade: make sure to update Xcode and get it to start; then proceed to a fresh install of UE5.4.

Yes, mockginjay is right, UE 5.4 requires mac os 13 I found it in the requirements: (Minimum Operating System MacOS 13 Ventura) and updated to sonoma.
The Engine starts and runs fine now.
