I’ve imported a factory scene from Navisworks using Datasmith, and I’m trying to make a basic rendering in Unreal Engine. Everything seems to come through, but I keep getting this strange artifact in the background of the scene—almost like a persistent “ghost” geometry or lighting effect.
I’ve tried:
- Adding and adjusting lighting
- Changing materials
- Blocking out the surroundings manually
- Toggling visibility and checking for hidden meshes
No matter what I do, this artifact stays in the render. I just can’t wrap my head around why it’s showing up.
