UE 5.3.2 Ghost shadow/ Imported Naviswork data

Hey everyone,
I’ve imported a factory scene from Navisworks using Datasmith, and I’m trying to make a basic rendering in Unreal Engine. Everything seems to come through, but I keep getting this strange artifact in the background of the scene—almost like a persistent “ghost” geometry or lighting effect.

I’ve tried:

  • Adding and adjusting lighting
  • Changing materials
  • Blocking out the surroundings manually
  • Toggling visibility and checking for hidden meshes

No matter what I do, this artifact stays in the render. I just can’t wrap my head around why it’s showing up.

From your provided screenshots, the shadow in the wall looks like a normals conflict. Please check that wall section of your asset in Blender, ensure all faces are aiming at the right direction, and check your UVs for any strange seam connection.
