UE 5.1.1 Theme Editor still broken :(

I am so disappointed :frowning: :frowning:

UE 5.0 has introduced a new theme editor, but it was buggy and it was clumsy to use, as the users had to know a lot of obscure information to be able to edit, import and export themes properly.

UE 5.1 was released, and the theme editor was even more broken. It finally received proper import and export buttons for themes, but the themes did not get saved at all. Every time youā€™d switch a theme, itā€™d get reset to default one on editor restart.

I have reported that bug myself in UDN.

Now, UE 5.1.1. is released, and it indeed fixed the bug of the theme being reset on editor restart. But guess what, the active theme is now stored per project. This is so infuriating.

Iā€™ve been begging for years for a fix for that nonsense where EDITOR settings are stored within the PROJECT.

Now, instead that being addressed, in 5.1.1, we get PER PROJECT editor theme! I am not kidding. I have to set up how my editor looks all over again for every new project I create. If I work with multiple projects and decide Iā€™d like to use different editor theme, I now need to change that for every project I work on.

I canā€™t interpret this in any other way than QA being non existent.
