It seems I have found a “Work Around” for this issue however it does cause another issue which I have yet to get fixed.
This is the configuration manager accessed via
- Build > Configuration manager (once a solution has been opened.)
- Active Solution configuration > Development
- Editor Active Solution Platform > x64
- UE4 > Platform > Dropdown > New…
- New Platform > ARM
- Copy Settings from: > x64
- Create New Solution Platforms Checked.
- Select x64 for UE4 and this should fix the issue.
I am now however having an issue with the Hot Reload feature of Unreal where it has complacently stopped working and I’ve yet to find a solution that sticks.
